Woman’s Yoga and mountain bike clinic
Incorporating Yoga into a pre-existing lifestyle. tm

April 10-13, 2008

Get dirty and centered in Moab Utah. Join MOAB YOGA ON THE ROCKS for an amazing opportunity to incorporate Yoga with Mountain Biking. Surrounded by sandstone towers and plateaus you will find yourself submerged in a hauntingly beautiful desert. In this area you will experience amazing mountain biking with Tonya Bray, founder and owner of mtbchick, cycletherapy as well as a pro mountain biker for 7 years

Tonya’s goal with women is to, “empower women to do things they never thought possible, to help women set and reach goals in life, and in cycling. In the past 15 years of my life, I have been involved in the Outdoor Industry. I began mountain biking around that time, working in bike and mountaineering shops, riding radical mountain trails in Montana. Shortly after starting my racing career, I began to teach women. I didn't want to see women struggle and give up on mountain biking. I wanted to see women having fun and getting dirty- and loving it! I am here today to continue this mission- to get more women on bikes. To let every woman know, it's ok to be tough, and a woman... soft skin, hardcore!”

Now what makes this clinic different from others?

Moab Yoga on the rocks wanted to create a retreat experience full of empowerment and finding center in life, so we incorporated yoga into a pre existing lifestyle, mountain biking.

Yoga will be taught by Elisabeth Lilja. Elisabeth Is the Founder and co owner of Moab Yoga on the Rocks. She has taught Yoga for 2 years and has Practiced Yoga for 7 years. Specializing in the field of athletes, Elisabeth’s goal is to help woman incorporate yoga into a pre-existing lifestyle, so that they can experience their passion with greater awareness, body and mind. Elisabeth also transcends this by, “empowering women by putting them in their body, helping them find there breath and diving just a little bit deeper into the amazing power they have."

Elisabeth is certified Under Dana Baptiste, and has studied with Ana Forest, Rolf gates as well as many other talented instructors in Portland, Seattle and California. Elisabeth teaches at Centered City Yoga in Salt Lake City Utah as well as to women recovering from eating disorders. By incorporating Yoga into Cycling you will ride away with a greater awareness of your body as well as your mind.
